Credentials: Associates Degree in Computer Science or an IT related field

Toledo Tool & Die is adding a part-time IT Help Desk Technician to our team to support our continued growth.

- Monday-Friday (4 hours each day)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide computer user help desk support trouble shooting operating system, computer and printer issues in a manufacturing environment. Setup Microsoft Office programs, email, Plex ERP, and company cell phones for users.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Setup computer workstations, monitors, and docking stations for users.
- Connect user to company network, virtual drives, and printers.
- Install Plex client and insure user functionality.
- Install and configure Microsoft Office suite of programs and connect user to company email.
- Setup and configure Thin Client based manufacturing computers and install Google Chrome and PLEX Manufacturing ERP.
- Install and connect forklift mounted computers and Bluetooth scanners.
- Program Bluetooth scanners using Zebra Scan123 program and connect to forklift mounted computers.
- Configure and program Cypherlabs RK95 handheld computers using XML based coding.
- Install computer hardware, software and printers.
- Provide a positive teaching/coaching experience for our employees in computer basics.
