The Inventory Control Assistant will assist in inventory management, data entry, receiving and shipping support, and inventory control accuracy. Applicants need no specific educational qualifications and are expected to work full-time in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and ensuring that inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to verify accuracy between system records and actual stock.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock and provide recommendations for disposal or movement.
Data Entry & Record Keeping:
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Ensure that all transactions (receiving, transfers, adjustments) are properly recorded.
- Assist with generating reports on inventory status, shortages, overages, and reorder levels.
Receiving & Shipping Support:
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments by verifying quantities and item descriptions against purchase orders.
- Ensure that inventory is properly labeled, stored, and located in designated storage areas.
- Work with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
Inventory Control & Accuracy:
- Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and policies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile any inventory variances.
- Assist with the analysis of inventory trends and discrepancies.
