Inventory and Logistics Specialist, Corporate

Job Description:

The Inventory and Logistics Specialist oversees the efficient storage, movement, and tracking of goods across data center facilities. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained appropriately, products are stored and shipped accurately, and logistics processes run smoothly.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs of the data center operations
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Collaborate with upper management to define Inventory & Logistics goals that align with the overall strategic direction
• Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
• Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
• Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
• Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
• Replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus through the management of vendors
• Collect and analyze data to accurately forecast needs for site level operations
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous quality control processes
• Collaborate with data center employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
• Prepare documentation and facilitate the audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy

ABOUT YOU

• Preferred experience in inventory control
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bitcoin mining data center experience is a plus
• Flexibility - we are a small company and everyone is expected to assist one another. This means that your responsibilities can change frequently and at short notice
• Problem Solver - you will troubleshoot with sites that need repairs and will need the ability to work with the team to resolve in the best way possible
• Team Player - you will be working with people from different departments as well as team members within your own department
• Patience - many of our vendors are from overseas and you will work through language, cultural, and time zone differences
• Diligent - demonstrates a meticulous and proactive approach to data management, logistics, and inventory control, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals
