Interim Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for Private Bank

About This Role

RGP has a Banking Client looking for an Interim Chief Risk Officer. This role is REMOTE, and has the possibility of converting to a traditional non-consulting role.

What You Will Work On

As Interim Chief Risk Officer with Banking you will Lead and Manage the Risk Function for a Private Boutique Banking Client of RGP. You will:

• Lead a risk function with an emphasis on Third Party Risk and Credit Risk Assessment Management.
• Manage current, ongoing Regulatory Audits and Regulatory Examinations including by Banking Regulators such as the OCC
• Own Risk Policies and Procedures
• Prepare Board Reports
• Own Bank's Risk Appetite (including Risk Limits and Risk Breach Responses)
• Oversee Risk Remediation efforts (self-identified, regulatory, and audit-related)

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's Degree or other Advanced Degree in Relevant Disciplines such as Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance.
• Risk Certification such as CRM is a plus.
• Significant experience leading and managing the Risk Function within Banks.
• Significant experience managing Risk and Regulatory Audits and/or Regulatory Examinations within Banks.
• Excellent Presentation skills and Communication skills, both Written and Verbal.
• Proven experience developing, reviewing and presenting Executive Management Decks,Risk Metrics and KPIs and other Risk Reporting.
• Strong Stakeholder Management and Project Coordination Skills.
• Proven experience in Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis.
• Significant knowledge of Credit Risk and Regulatory Compliance Frameworks and Regulatory Requirements for Banks and Banking Products.
• Proven Process Improvement experience.

• Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. 
• Pay Range: HOURLY PAY RATE IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE. IDEAL HOURLY PAY RANGE IS $110-150 PER HOUR. ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE AND THE ABILITY TO WORK EAST COAST WORK HOURS IS REQUIRED.
