Job Summary
Under the direction of the teacher, the Instructional Support Assistant I – Driver assists in carrying out educational plans for individual students. Performs a variety of routine tasks to assist and care for children assigned to school programs. Transports students to and from school and on field trips as required. Provides direct care, supervision, and support of the children in a regular and/or special education classroom setting. Maintains and prepares classroom materials, records, and assigned student files. Provides instructional assistance that reinforces learning to students. (INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT / AIDE)
