Job Description:
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of the inside sales group, planning, directing and coordinating the inside sales functions. Ensures support to customers and account managers by maintaining frequent communication with both and by helping troubleshoot problems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Directs the activity of a group of employees and motivates for maximum productivity

Maintains frequent communication with the customer base and gathers information to ensure their satisfaction

Provides adequate job training and ensures employees perform tasks following guidelines and pre-established instructions

Identifies, researches, and resolves various problems and opportunities

Evaluates the performance of individuals and various programs

Coaches and assists employees to help them perform their job functions more productively and efficiently. Disciplines employees when necessary and conducts annual performance reviews

Ensures customers are well informed of program updates

Helps drive new product sales by communicating unknown products to customers

Works with account managers to comply with customer requests and solves customer problems

Prepares various reports and correspondence as required

Performs other duties as required
Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in administration, business, or related area, or equivalent experience

Minimum three years of experience in customer service

Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (excel, word, and Outlook)

Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer terminal, scanner, etc)

Working knowledge of product lines and customer base
