Job Description:
K18 Hair is looking for an influencer relations manager to join the Consumer Engagement team. The influencer relations manager will work with the Consumer Engagement team + cross-functional partners to develop and execute comprehensive programs to support K18 Hair’s overarching strategies. This person will support day-to-day influencer marketing efforts, play an integral role in developing strategy, help plan influencer/stylist events, manage relationships, and ensure all campaign goals are met.
Reporting to the director of influencer relations, you will support external agency management, asset organization, campaigns, photo shoots, brand activations, etc. This person will expand and nurture K18 Hair’s influencer + stylist community. They will have a deep understanding of (or willingness to learn) the influencer marketing landscape, experience incorporating creators into brand campaigns, strong relationships with influencer + stylist talent and a proficiency with measurement tools and social channels for optimal reporting. This person is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with influencers, stylists, and their agents and teams when relevant.
Responsibilities
- Identify new creators and artistry talent, ensuring long-term partnerships that drive brand awareness and high engagement.
- Lead the development and execution of forward-thinking influencer marketing strategies that align with brand goals and evolving industry trends.
- Measure and report on influencer program performance and KPIs; share results, insights, and future recommendations with cross-functional teams for ongoing success
- Support influencer team to meet deliverables and execute influencer campaigns that support product launches and key activations
- Manage Tribe Dynamics, ensuring organization and continuously track content performance to continue to elevate the program
- Stay on top of trends to execute social-first trending partnerships – managing negotiation, creator contracts, briefs, deliverables, timelines and payment.
- Oversee community growth - supporting gifting strategies to develop strong influencer relationships & brand loyalty.
- Support global retailers by coordinating influencer participation and co-branded initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate influencer strategies into key brand moments
Skills & Qualifications:
Role may include up to 30% of time traveling
- B.A. in Communications, Marketing, or similar
- 3-4 yrs experience in influencer relations, social media marketing, community and/or PR
- Demonstrated interest and passion for influencers and social media community
- Comfortable with G-Suite
- Experience with influencer software platforms (like Tribe Dynamics and Grin) and social media management tools (like Dash Hudson)
- Excellent communication & writing skills
- Prior experience in growing and scaling a digital community
- Ability to work in a remote/home office and ability to travel for offsite events.
- Ability to think critically and execute tasks accurately and efficiently
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Salary Range: up to $95,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
