Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven outside Sales Agency/Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with dealers, promoting our brand, and expanding our reach in the Upper Midwest & Great Lakes market. If you’re passionate about the outdoors and have a knack for fostering strong business relationships, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement tailored sales strategies and plans to achieve defined sales goals.
- This includes analyzing market trends, setting realistic targets, and identifying key opportunities for growth within your territory
- Regularly evaluate progress and adjust tactics to maximize effectiveness and drive results
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent retail partners
- Present and promote Topo Designs products effectively, highlighting their unique benefits and features
- Understand and navigate the operations of independent retail businesses to better support our partners
- Stay self-motivated and goal-oriented, consistently striving for excellence in sales performance
- Engage in proactive communication with dealers, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Represent Topo Designs at industry events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and forge new partnerships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales within the outdoor or active lifestyle industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Passion for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for the gear that enhances outdoor experiences
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with dealers and retailers.
- Solid understanding of independent retail operations and market dynamics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a positive, goal-driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to deliver results under strict deadlines
