Job Description:
The HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting various functions to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory agencies and internal programs, policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Ongoing auditing of files, reports, policies, procedures, and documents to identify and improve on the compliance posture of the organization and adherence to standards

Assist with reviewing, monitoring and implementing recommended changes to HR policies and procedures, coworker handbook, postings and other manuals or documents to ensure or improve upon compliance

Collaborate with other functional areas such as HR Shared Services and HR Business Partners in the monitoring, delivery and communication of compliance initiatives, standard and programs

Discreetly handle sensitive reports or information

Assist with implementing recommended changes to HR systems, policies, procedures, practices, etc.

Proactively stays abreast of all coworker-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments

Develop procedures and workflows to meet compliance documentation standards
QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree - Required

Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

2 years Human Resources - Required

5 years Healthcare and HR Compliance - Required

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute - Preferred

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society for Human Resource Management - Preferred

SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society for Human Resource Management - Preferred
