Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Presentation and Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Business Development team. In this pivotal role, you will design and produce high-quality, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that are essential for client pitches, proposals, and various marketing collateral. Your expertise in graphic design, particularly in presentation formatting and visual storytelling, will enable you to create impactful slide templates and master designs that resonate with our clients.
In addition to your focus on presentation work, you will also support our diverse print and digital design needs, including brochures, newsletters, event materials, social media graphics, and other promotional pieces. We are looking for a designer proficient in PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as Adobe Creative Suite. A basic knowledge of HTML and experience with email marketing platforms will be beneficial in this role. In this role, you will play a significant role in amplifying our brand's message and enhancing client engagement through visually engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Design high-impact PowerPoint presentations for Business Development and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and manage custom templates, slide masters, charts, infographics, and icon libraries.
- Collaborate with attorneys, Business Development professionals and internal stakeholders to interpret messaging into visually effective presentations.
- Ensure consistency with the Firm’s brand and visual identity across all materials.
- Support the design of print and digital marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, one-pagers, invitations, signage, and social media graphics.
- Format and prepare documents using Microsoft Word and Excel when needed.
- Retouch imagery and create assets using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Assist with light HTML tasks and the creation of branded email campaigns using email marketing platforms (e.g., Vuture or similar).
- Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
- Perform additional duties as required
Required Skills
- 3-7 years of experience in presentation design and general graphic design.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including custom templates, animations and visual layout best practices.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects is a plus.
- Experience with basic HTML and email marketing platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
