Summary:

Job Description:
As an Effectiveness Coach, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our mission. You'll be responsible for training and coaching both current and aspiring teachers, delivering professional development centered on curriculum and instruction to enhance student achievement. Our Consulting Division collaborates closely with teachers, school leaders, districts, and states to expand access to high-quality educational opportunities. By joining our team, you'll contribute to creating pathways that promote social and economic mobility for students across urban and suburban areas, including independent charter schools and charter networks in Arkansas.
Some responsibilities and duties may vary, but the role of an Effectiveness Coach includes:
-
Implement a data-driven coaching strategy that supports retention and improved performance of teachers.
-
Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders – partners, principals, district staff and team members to support your progress.
-
Identify innovative solutions for improving teachers’ overall performance to meet contract goals and ultimately provide strong responsive instruction to their students.
-
Contribute to team/project goals, engaging in innovation in alignment with goals.
-
Understand team and client priorities to effectively communicate aligned to team/project goals.
-
Contribute to the design, implementation and management of Pre-Service Training (PST) for aspiring teachers.
-
Design Standards-aligned, content-specific sessions for teacher professional development and certification requirements.
-
Provide a supportive, engaging, high-quality, joyful and data-informed coaching experience for stakeholders.
-
Play a supporting role in TNTP’s teacher development initiatives, proposing and crafting long-term, aligned teacher development strategies and services.
Our team members typically travel approximately 40% of the time, which translates to about 8-10 days per month providing onsite school support. In addition to providing ongoing virtual support, this travel schedule will fluctuate based on specific project requirements and client needs throughout the year. Your ability to adapt to changing schedules while remaining responsive to client priorities—always working within established budget and scope parameters—is essential for successful project outcomes. In addition, given our clients are all over the state of Arkansas, some in cities and some in rural locations, all candidates must have a valid Driver’s License (reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities).
