Job Description:
BetterHelp is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team. This high-impact role will drive data-informed decision-making that balance revenue growth with profitability. You’ll provide strategic insights tied to the rollout and rapid expansion of our Insurance Coverage business - an exciting and rapidly evolving growth area for BetterHelp.
You will be responsible for financial modeling, KPI reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional business partnering across BetterHelp’s leadership and our parent company, Teladoc Health.
Essential Duties

Play a lead finance role in scaling BetterHelp’s Insurance Coverage business, a major revenue growth initiative, supported by the recent acquisition of UpLift, a tech-enabled provider of virtual mental health services with over 100 million covered lives and a network of 1,500+ mental health professionals.

Support the integration of UpLift and expansion of the Insurance Coverage model through financial planning, revenue/cost analysis, and strategic modeling of new health plan partnerships and business initiatives.

Develop robust business cases, analyze root causes of forecast variances, and provide actionable insights by identifying and quantifying financial opportunities and risks.

Prepare and present compelling, executive-ready materials for senior leadership that translate data into insights and insights into strategic decisions.

Collaborate closely with Data Science and Financial Engineering teams to develop and enhance automated reporting and forecasting systems, and define and provide access to the relevant KPIs.
Required Qualifications

Experience in finance, strategy, or analytics roles within a healthcare, health-tech, or technology-driven company, or from consulting/investment banking.

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with strong presentation skills using PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong ability to identify key business drivers and influence key decision makers.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications

Highly skilled at working with large datasets and extracting insights using advanced quantitative techniques.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex findings to executive stakeholders.

Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working across departments with counterparts in finance, business, data and tech.

Experience working with BI tools (such as Looker) and ERP systems (such as Oracle).

MBA or an advanced degree in a related field.
The base salary range for this position is $125,000- $145,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
