Field Service Technician II plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing IGT equipment at casino locations. In this position, you will respond to the Management team and Operations dispatch, traveling within your designated area to deliver IGT equipment and install, remove, or repair communication devices, ensuring seamless operations.
This position is remote, preferred within the Fresno (Central Valley) area.
Responsibilities:
• Lead technical teams to install, remove, convert, perform preventive maintenance, install systems hardware and prepare games, set options, and repair games in a field environment.
• Lead various EGM and Systems projects including new casino openings and expansions.
• Successfully delegate to peer staff on various EGM system projects.
• Skilled in advanced project preparation providing seamless project deployment.
• Knowledge share with internal and external customers on new products.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts issued.
• Document repair, preventive maintenance, machine prep, standard power analysis and pre-site work.
• Follow documentation, policies and procedures and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Reading and translating wiring diagrams.
• Resolve technical problems and perform program upgrades, and download set up.
• Testing programs with various verification devices, e.g., Chip Comparator.
• Troubleshoot with input and output tests.
• Set up game options and test various devices, e.g., bill validators.
• Test pay table, reel strip and bonus awards.
• Install and repair and maintain fiber optic lines and WAP telephone lines.
• Knowledge share with customers on basic game functionality.
• Maintain a positive image of IGT with co-workers and IGT’s customers.
• In-depth user-level knowledge of SAP, OneDrive, SharePoint, CADENCE, and JIRA
• Working knowledge of the JIRA system implementing utilization for positive field impact.
• Understand and apply inoperability knowledge across all IGT platforms and systems product.
• Network and interface with product support engineering, GOM, Traffic and Scheduling
• Function as liaison and extension of local management.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically requires multiple years of electronics or slot tech experience, as well as project or team lead experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals.
• Must be computer literate and have documented networking experience.
• Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required.
• Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and travel to client sites as needed. Flexibility of work location is a must. Potential for heavy travel on an as-needed basis could be required.
• Must have the ability to maintain a neat appearance, in adherence with IGT Uniform policy.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and able to stand a full shift.
• Able to work in adverse conditions for an extended period of time.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Work well under pressure, in a team-environment, and with little direct supervision.
• Must be able to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license in multiple jurisdictions.
• Must have a valid State’s driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Required to pass IGT security background check and able to obtain a gaming card.

The estimated starting compensation range is $33,800.00 - $85,176.00. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.
