Job Description:
The 2025 Field Service Engineer (FSE) Summer Intern position is contributes to “Early Talent Strategy” focused on building a pipeline of engineer talent for Field Services. We are looking for motivated Summer Interns interested in pursuing a career in engineering passionate about delivering exceptional service to customers in the field.
Location: Madison, WI
You will join a cohort of FSE Interns who will begin work on a pre-determined start and end date.
- No relocation stipend is available.
What You Will Do as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) Summer Intern?
- Gain invaluable insights and practical knowledge by observing and learning from experienced FSEs (Field Service Engineers).
- Take on a specific project linked to the Field Service Engineering business.
- Showcase your project findings and share your FSE Summer Intern experiences with our Divisional Leadership Team (DLT).
- Engage in a meaningful one-day volunteer project within your local community.
Requirements:
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 weeks.
- Field-based, customer-facing position requiring flexibility to travel.
- Complete assigned project before the end of the Summer Intern Program.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship.
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Experience
- Customer Service work experience is a plus.
- Engineering, Robotics, and/or IT work experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge and experience with computer technology.
- Self-starter with a powerful desire to learn.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
