Duties
Conducts interviews primarily in person (door to door) and when requested may conduct phone interviews to SC data as required within an assigned geographic area.
Communicates with respondents, supervisors, and other persons as appropriate.
Understands SC materials in order to explain the purpose of the SC, ask questions as worded on the questionnaire and enters accurate and complete information onto SC forms.
Canvass and travel around an area in an organized manner to find and verify living quarters.
Maintains personal payroll records that reflect hours worked, miles driven, and reimbursements for travel and communications claimed.
Completes and attends in-person training.
Requirements
- You must maintain a residence within the area of consideration, that will serve as your duty station.
- You must be 18 years old.
- You must be a US Citizen.
- You must be in good physical condition to drive, climb stairs, and walk for extended periods.
- You must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- You must be willing to occasionally travel overnight for training and work assignments.
Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of general experience at a level of difficulty or 2 years of education above high school.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying.
