EDI Analyst (remote)

Job Description:

This position is ideally based in Charlotte or Florham.

Contributes identifying and documenting functional and technical requirements to deliver integration, new application functionality based on business needs. The emphasis of this role is to work within a Delivery Team to deliver outcomes (Integrations – EDI and/or API) as agreed with Platform Product Owners, stakeholders, and customers

Key Responsabilities:

• Perform / validate business requirements gathering by liaising with implementation stakeholders and Maersk customers; conduct analysis, design and solution documentation following Maersk standard.
• Collaborate with Solution architects, Software engineers and Demand Managers, (as needed) to understand requirements and designs, translating business requirements into detailed solution design, coordinate development, testing and deployment activities.
• Conduct module test, integration test based on self-designed test scenarios, and support User Acceptance Test,
• Conduct hyper care until the service running smoothly in PROD.
• Manage the risks and issues that may affect development, deliveries or platform.
• Provide Level 2/3 support, assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies related to integration solutions.

Desired skills:

• 2 to 4 years of experience
• Appropriate balance of business and technology acumen,
• Able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into customer value adding roadmaps and outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of EDI/API standard including communication protocol in respective industries.
• Knowledge of:
  • EDI Protocols EDIFACT / ANSI X12
  • Web Services / APIs
• Knowledge of SAP ERP EDI, iDOCs, XML Schema also desirable.
• Knowledge of communication protocols:
  • AS2, FTPS, and SFTP
• Experience in Logistics and Services.
• Experience of EDI/API implementations and/or working knowledge of internal Maersk applications and processes
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum/Kanban

Salary:

$90,000 to $100,000

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
