Job Description:
EDI Analyst
Trilogy Federal is looking for an experienced EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst for a new remote role. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert for 837s, 835s, 275s, and other EDI transactions. This position will join a project team responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations and integrity of EDI transactions for a major program within a large Federal agency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all EDI transactions.
- Conduct and perform analysis of EDI transactions, documents, and produce metrics reports.
- Create test transactions and validate test data.
- Manage operations of all 270/271, 275, 276/277, 834, 835, 837, 999, and other transactions across multiple systems.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Develop technical documentation such as companion guides, interface control documents, and reports.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into specifications.
- Manage UAT (user acceptance testing), including test case creation and working with users to conduct testing.
- Facilitate technical meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- At least ten years total experience and at least four years working in EDI in a technical position in a healthcare organization.
- Expertise in governmentally mandated formats and technological standards for the exchange of data via EDI in healthcare, including X12 / Technical Report 3, and NCPDP standards.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and other medical coding.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

- Preferred VA, VBA, or VHA experience
