About the Role:
We’re hiring a Director of PMO to establish and lead the IT Project Management Office, manage a portfolio of high-impact enterprise projects, and implement project governance and best practices across our health system.
This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned project executive with healthcare IT experience—especially someone familiar with Cerner EMR systems and California public health programs.
What You’ll Do:

Build and lead a centralized IT PMO function

Standardize project governance, reporting, and tools across the organization

Lead the project intake/review committee and streamline project onboarding

Oversee execution of complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare IT initiatives

Collaborate with leadership to align projects with strategic goals

Promote PMO maturity and continuous improvement
What You Bring:

10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 in healthcare IT

Strong experience managing EMR/EHR implementations – Cerner strongly preferred

Deep understanding of California’s public health system and regulatory environment

Proven leadership of enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional teams

PMP or equivalent certification a plus

Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
