About The Role:Ziff Davis Shopping is seeking a passionate, results-oriented individual to join a seasoned digital marketing team to assist with social media and PR marketing efforts in support of the RetailMeNot brand. This is a temporary role for the period of June 16th - August 31st. What You’ll Do:
- Social Media
- Assist in managing and executing social marketing campaigns
- Research social media trends and topics to pitch suggestions for future content
- Engage with comments and relevant content representing RetailMeNot
- Compile reporting on campaign and channel performance
- Edit, format, and post content on various social media platforms
- PR
- Track and compile daily media coverage related to RetailMeNot, competitors and industry trends
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases and media alerts
- Help maintain and update media contact lists
- Conduct research on media trends, influencers, seasonal shopping behaviors and editorial calendars
- Research potential partners, coordinating outreach efforts and managing incoming requests.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of organic and paid social trends and some prior experience in content creation across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Twitter/X)
- Interest in media, influencers and consumer trends
- Strong research skills
- Inclination towards data-based decision-making
- Independent, yet collaborative mindset
- Eagerness to test and innovate
- Strong grammar, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency using Google and/or Microsoft Office suite of products
- e-commerce experience a plus
- Visual/video editing tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut) a plus
