USA Communications team is looking for an internal Skanska colleague with strong experience as a writer, storyteller, strategist and is driven to step into a temporary six-month assignment as Digital Marketing and Content Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to take part in strategy, content development and position Skanska’s brand across its communications channels.
As a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist, you will have a hand in executing digital media strategies, creating engaging content, and supporting our digital presence across various internal and external platforms. This role requires a general understanding of audience segmentation and targeting key stakeholders. You will collaborate with the U.S. Communications Team and work cross-functionally across business units to support our projects and business initiatives.
This temporary assignment is a valuable development opportunity to strengthen your communications skills, expand your network across Skanska, and bring a fresh, cross-functional perspective to the role and team.
What You’ll Do:
- Create, write, and publish engaging content, including project stories, promotional materials, and news.
- Draft and execute social media campaigns aligned with goals and strategy to optimize engagement.
- Support brand and reputation management, including crisis management.
- Track and analyze content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams and support internal and external communications.

- Experience in social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Sprinklr and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
