Overview
Dental Sterilization Tech - PRN
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to support our clinical team by ensuring all operatories, instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient dental environment.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Monitor and operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.)
- Maintain proper inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary
- Ensure all operatories are properly stocked and equipped for procedures
- Support clinical team by turning over rooms and preparing them for patient care
- Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment
- Organize and store sterilized instruments in designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of sterilization equipment
- Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation

The salary range for this role is $16.66 per hour based on full-time employment.
