Job Description:

The Data Engineer primary role is to Develop, and support Processes needed for Data analysis, reporting and maintenance of data across all business areas. They will have to implement methods to improve data reliability and quality. The individual must combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats. The individual will have to develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling. This role uses independence and judgment, works to solve data issues and problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical expertise to integrate different data sources, transform and load data.
  • Build data systems and pipelines.
  • Prioritize and manage the responses to ad-hoc requests from the business functions.
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
  • Build algorithms and prototypes.
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Assist with special projects, across all products, geographies, and business units.
  • Troubleshoots problems, identifies possible solutions, and resolves them accordingly.
  • Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements.
  • Work independently and within required timeframes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 plus years of related Experience
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design
  • Great numerical and analytical skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure stack, Python Scripting, T SQL, ADF and
  • Good to have reporting skills
