Description

Job Summary:

 

The Spine Team Texas Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for all incoming calls into the facility and directing them to the appropriate personnel. While providing the highest quality of customer service, this position is responsible for scheduling and maintaining appointments and clinic schedules. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas.

 

 

 

Educational Requirements & Position Qualifications:

 

  1. High School graduate or equivalent.

  7. Possess the ability to plan and execute work projects.
  8.  
  9. Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals.

  11. Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally.

  13. Excellent at persuasion and objection management.
  14.  
  15. Ability to diffuse difficult conversations over the phone and in person.
  16.  
  17. Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.

  19. Bilingual preferred (Spanish or Vietnamese).

  21. Previous experience with phone based sales and/or customer service preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  1. It is the responsibility of the Scheduling Coordinator to answer and route all incoming calls, schedule various appointments and document appropriately within the Centricity system.
  2.  
  3. It is the responsibility of this position to provide accurate and appropriate information to authorized individuals in a timely and efficient manner. This includes working with outside physician offices in scheduling their referred patients.
  4.  
  5. It is imperative for the position to provide the highest quality of customer service and maintain appropriate documentation.
  6.  
  7. It is imperative for the position to utilize persuasive communication skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with incoming calls.
  8.  
  9. It is imperative for the position to utilize both good reasoning and the ability to address the objection/rejection of service offerings with positive language and influence.
  10.  
  11. Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Billing Director.

Employees must always speak in a kind, courteous and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker.
