Summary
The Crystal Reports Developer is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of business reports using SAP Crystal Reports. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience with SAP Crystal Reports. The developer collaborates closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather and analyze reporting requirements, define data sources, and create accurate, timely, and user-friendly reports.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Crystal Reports, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical specifications.
- Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to support accurate reporting and meaningful business insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of reports through rigorous testing, data validation, and adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, including data discrepancies, formatting errors, and performance concerns, in collaboration with technical teams.
- Provide end-user support and training to help stakeholders access, interpret, and utilize reports effectively.
- Document report logic, business rules, and processes, and maintain user guides and technical documentation for ongoing support and compliance.
- Monitor report performance and support ongoing improvements, including optimizing queries, adjusting report logic, and recommending enhancements based on user feedback.
