Job Description:
Earned Wealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Development Associate to join our team. You will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy by identifying and developing a robust pipeline of acquisition targets, from target identification through initial outreach. You’ll draw acquisition targets into the top of the funnel and drive engagement with senior members of our corporate development team. This role will report into our Chief Growth Officer.
Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and manage a robust pipeline of potential acquisition/partnership targets. Actively source leads and identify high-potential companies that align with our strategic objectives.

Deal Sourcing & Screening: Proactively seek out new opportunities through networking, research, cold calling, and other direct outreach strategies, as well as screen inbound acquisition leads. Qualify and prioritize targets based on strategic fit, KPI metrics, etc.

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with the corporate development and broader Earned team, target companies, and intermediaries. Build rapport with potential acquisition/partnership targets and maintain regular communication to keep opportunities moving forward.

Pipeline Reporting & Tracking: Regularly report on pipeline status, including updates on active opportunities, next steps, and any potential roadblocks. Use CRM systems and internal tracking files to track and document progress to ensure transparency and reporting within the corporate development team and broader Earned leadership.

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitors, and acquisition opportunities. Use both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the attractiveness of potential targets.

Strategic Support: Collaborate with the corporate development team to refine acquisition strategies, messaging, and communication.
Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree required

2-5+ years of experience in M&A business development roles (buyside, sell-side, or corporate), B2B enterprise sales, or D2C sales with a strong cold-call focus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills – you’ll be representing Earned in a variety of contexts, including with acquisition targets, our leadership team, and our investors

Familiarity with CRM systems and deal-tracking tools is a plus

Comfort creating presentations and illustrations designed to tell a story to both business owners and internal team
