Job Description:
Summary: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) leads all sales activities for their product line within the defined territory for Stellar Industries. This role will work to build dealer relationships and partnerships to drive market penetration within the region.
In addition to driving sales through our dealer partners, the RSM will also work to partner with current and prospective dealers/customers, equipment end users, and industry training associations to further the awareness of Stellar and Stellar product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Customer Management
• The RSM is responsible for driving sales penetration and volume within their assigned markets by identifying, meeting with customers, and understanding customer needs.
• Identifying Stellar products to meet customer needs, communicating Stellar solutions to customers, delivering quotes in a timely manner, and making themselves readily available to customers for consultations and sales calls.
• Establishes business networking relationships with key industry contacts.
• Maintains positive commercial relationships with key end-user customers to guide in current and future sales opportunities.
Other Duties
• Responsible for effective and productive travel and entertainment expenses in accordance to budget.
• Prepares periodic sales reports regarding sales activities and key field intelligence
• Prepare timely quotes and review customer orders for accuracy and completeness, and ensure Stellar products meet required customer order specifications and requirements.
• Always address and communicate with customers and internal teammates in a professional manner regardless of the customers’ communication style.
• Complete assignments or projects concerning territory topics in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist with TIA classes conducted at Stellar Industries facilities.
Travel:
• Extensive overnight travel by car or air is expected which may include week- ends according to territory sales development and national trade show needs
• Expected travel of 50%.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL

• Demonstration of advanced technical knowledge, and an advanced understanding of the tire service or work truck industry and the company’s business processes.

• Provide accurate input into the budget process and contribute to meeting the actual targets.

• Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.

Preferred Qualification and Education:
• BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of related equipment sales experience, preferably in the tire truck or work truck industry.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
