Department Overview
The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, HRIS program development and implementation, and organizational development.
Position Summary
Responsible for the effective coordination of services within the Physician & Advanced Practice Talent Acquisition team, the Recruitment Coordinator works as a key member of the team and is accountable for the entire process associated with candidate interviews, site visits, travel, and connection to local relocation services to support physician & APP recruitment. The Coordinator must use a high level of discretion and work independently to orchestrate the interview-site visit workload process once a candidate has been identified. Working within a budget and forging relationships to facilitate logistics, the Coordinator ensures a warm handoff and successful follow through in the critical interview and site visit stage of the hiring process, from the recruiter through to the interview team and finally to the community for relocation.
The coordinator will also provide sourcing support by finding qualified candidates for assigned position vacancies. Using various sourcing skills, the Coordinator will locate and produce candidates using a variety of tools with particular emphasis on physician/APP recruitment websites (Practice Match), email campaigns, fellowship programs, and social media.
In addition to supporting the Physician and Advanced Practice team the Coordinator will also support the larger Talent Acquisition department by providing a direct line of support to Talent Acquisition consultants and various business units in the form of informational and administrative tasks related to our hiring practices. Tasks may include organizing interview schedules, streamlining the pre- and post-offer processes, assisting with the coordination and staffing of recruitment events, greeting new hires, developing interview schedules, creating and managing related reports, and assisting in projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health care, business administration, information technology, or related field. 3-5 years recruitment/administrative experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Strong client/customer service orientation. Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior-level staff. Demonstrated project coordination experience in handling multiple and complex projects with discretion, and autonomy. Demonstrated and proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, independent decision-making, and proficiency in word processing. Prior physician recruitment experience, or other experience working with physicians in an administrative capacity a plus.

When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
