We are actively seeking a skilled and dependable Billing Specialist with hands-on experience using Notenetic EHR to join us immediately in a part-time, contractor role.
Position Overview:
We need a motivated and detail-oriented contractor who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has direct experience with Notenetic and a proven track record working with mental health billing, claims denials, and reimbursement recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and manage billing through Notenetic for mental health counseling services.
- Review, troubleshoot, and resubmit denied claims with necessary documentation.
- Follow up on unpaid or delayed claims and work toward full reimbursement.
- Identify trends and root causes in denials; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal staff to improve claim submissions and documentation accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date records of claims activity and reporting.
Requirements:
- Direct experience with Notenetic EHR (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in mental health billing and claims management.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes and denial resolution.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Availability to begin work immediately and commit to at least 10–15 hours per week.
