The candidate should possess a Master's degree in Library Science and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm environment.

Experience: 5+ years of experience providing support for research and business & competitive intelligence services in a corporate or law firm environment, 2+ years of experience in project management, especially in a corporate or law firm environment, Law firm experience is strongly preferred.

Your Role:
Under the direction of the Director, the Competitive Intelligence Research Analyst works as part of a team to provide expert, customized research and analysis firm-wide. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence on clients, target clients, competitors, market trends, and industry developments. Additionally, the Analyst will serve on departmental and cross-departmental teams to accomplish specific goals and objectives set by the Director and firm leadership. This role is critical in helping the firm maintain its competitive edge and make informed strategic decisions.
As a Competitive Intelligence Research Analyst within our Research and Intelligence Center your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conducting comprehensive research on clients, target clients, competitors, market conditions, and industry trends.

Analyzing data from various sources to identify opportunities and threats.

Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management and practice groups.

Monitoring and reporting on key developments in the legal industry.

Collaborating with attorneys and other stakeholders to understand their intelligence needs.

Providing insights and recommendations based on research findings.
