TPAPT is hiring for one of our awesome chapters! We are looking for an experienced college essayist.
What you'll do:
- Work via Zoom or Google Meet with students in grades 9 - 12 to create and implement a roadmap for college essays
- Assist students with brainstorming, essay development, supplemental essays
- Proof read and copy edit as needed
- Consult with parents as needed to apprise of student progress
- Work with a dedicated and enjoyable team, great kids and supportive families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English from a US 4 year degree granting college (MFA preferred)
- At least two years as a college essay specialist
- Deep knowledge of the common application essay prompts
- Writing samples from two of your past students
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to tackle the administrative side of our college support programs
- Exceptionally strong communicator
- Tech savvy, confident, and professional in an online setting.
Benefits
- Fully remote and flexible work schedule.
- Hours are variable and generally range from 3 - 15 hours per week

- Compensation: $30-40 per hour
