Job Description:
The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Co-op/Student to provide part-time project management support for the development and implementation of an interdepartmental workflow-improvement business application. This position is designed to be both educational and practical. The ideal candidate will work ~15-20 hours per week throughout the duration of this Co-Op, with flexibility based on school schedule. PSD’s core operating hours are 8am – 5pm, Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementation of a new manufacturing business process flow system for use across all PSD business functions (i.e. AIMs - Action Item Management System)
- Customize an internal web-based workflow software to connect customer order tasks between various groups including engineering, quality, operations, customer service, and materials.
- Lead multiple business process mapping events to define electronic process workflow requirements.
- Coordinate all changes, revisions and updates with both internal and third-party IT groups, including web-based programming changes.
- Maximize productivity oversight by providing new dashboard and reports for electronic tracking of action items, notifications, and task assignments
- Create standard work documentation for the new workflow tools and facilitate training with all local users.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or Computer Science
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
- Commitment to at least one year in this role or completion of project
- Current Sophomore or Junior
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous internship or related project management experience
- Familiarity with business application development and testing process
- Effective professional communication skills
- Knowledge of ASP.NET applications
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
