Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5+ years relevant experience) Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, implement, and support the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in compliance with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.
- Ensure all project management, quality policies, and standards are met to fulfill user requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, estimates, process engineering, and guidance to project staff.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of software design documents and diagrams.
- Deliver technical training and support to staff in various healthcare settings.
- Document workflow processes based on health standards and implementations.
- Customize, evaluate, configure, analyze, and document the EHR system and related business workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile development methodologies.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting EHR systems.
- Strong documentation skills for workflow processes based on healthcare standards.
- Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies.
- Experience with technical system analysis, design, development, configuration, and support.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to provide technical training and support in healthcare environments.
- Direct experience with system/technical configuration.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Certifications:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
- Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA)
- Agile/Scrum certification
