Job Description:
Your Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to support CAPEX procurement activities at Ardent Mills. This role will assist in managing capital expenses (non-IT), supporting sourcing activities, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring supplier deliverables align with project timelines and budgets. The Buyer will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and the broader procurement team to drive efficiency in the capital procurement process.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing and purchasing of capital equipment, construction services, and infrastructure upgrades across multiple locations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and assist in preparing RFPs and supplier evaluations.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and tracking key metrics. Help identify cost-saving opportunities and support negotiations under the guidance of the Category Manager – Indirect.
- Participate in CAPEX spend analysis and contribute to supplier market research.
- Ensure documentation and procurement activity is compliant with internal controls and external standards.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure spending is aligned with the approved CAPEX budget.
- Provide timely follow-ups with suppliers and internal teams to support project timelines and delivery.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

Competitive Compensation:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $74,600.00 - $99,444.40, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additional bonuses may apply based on performance.
