They’re now embarking on a cloud migration project for a major US-based health system—and they need elite engineering talent to join them immediately.

You must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work on a C2C or 1099 contractor basis.

Project Scope & Timeline

• Start Date: ASAP (July start preferred).
• End Date: Approximately October (3-month duration).
• Engagement Type: Contract (C2C or 1099).
• Compensation: Open; we'll discuss your hourly rate expectations during our first conversation.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Software Architect with deep Azure cloud experience to lead the technical execution of a cloud migration project.

This is a hands-on, high-urgency engineering role where your cloud and software expertise will directly impact one of the country’s top healthcare organizations.

You’ll be working on migrating legacy cloud infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, building and optimizing modern cloud-native applications, and collaborating with a distributed, senior-level engineering team.

This is an individual contributor role—ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and solving complex technical challenges under tight timelines.

What You’ll Do

• Own the technical execution of a large-scale cloud migration to Azure.
• Write clean, production-level code in Python and React - You’re a rockstar in these 2, and these 2 are your core skills.
• Support full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with other architects, product managers, and developers.
• Evaluate and implement the best Azure services and infrastructure strategies.
• Jump in wherever needed to meet aggressive delivery goals.

Tech Stack & Skills Needed

• Cloud: Deep expertise in Azure (required)
• Back-End: Python
• Front-End: React
• Bonus: Experience with Unity
• Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of Azure cloud architecture experience or similar. 
• Proven experience executing large-scale Azure cloud migration projects with the ability to lead and perform independently. 
• Strong development experience with Python and React.
• You’re available immediately and can commit through October.
• You’ve worked on fast-moving client projects and know how to deliver under pressure.
• Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
