Job Description:
The Role
The Avionics Technician is tasked with assembling, setting up and fixing electrical systems and instrumentation for aerospace drone flight testing. This position demands a blend of electrical expertise, precise attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Assembly: Wiring, soldering, cable harness assembly, and setting up electrical test panels and equipment.

Instrumentation Setup: Install and calibrate sensors, data acquisition systems, and other flight test instrumentation according to project requirements.

Troubleshooting and Modifications: Diagnose and rectify electrical issues, applying modifications to electrical systems and instrumentation as instructed by the engineering team.

Material and Component Selection: Identify and prepare electrical components and materials necessary for assembly and testing tasks.

Collaboration: Engage actively with engineers, aerospace designers, and other team members to fulfill project objectives.

Independence: Procure electrical components and materials for projects with minimal oversight.

Feedback Provision: Offer constructive feedback to the engineering and design teams regarding electrical system performance and suggest potential improvements.

Workspace Management:
Ensure a tidy and orderly work area, complying with safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; further technical training or apprenticeship in electrical fields is highly regarded.

At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, or a related technical role.

Skilled in the use of electrical tools and equipment.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow intricate instructions and diagrams.
