Job Description:
The Associate Contract Manager serves as the primary point of contact for providers which Point32Health needs to negotiate single case agreements, individual contracts, and select small hospitals. This individual will ensure that contract terms are consistent with organizational strategy and are negotiated within the established legal and financial guidelines as established by Point32Health.
Job Description
- Main point of contact for commercial single case agreement negotiation
- Main point of contact for behavioral health and medical independent group contract negotiations
- Main point of contact for negotiation and maintenance of assigned hospital provider contracts
- Act as subject matter expert on terms and conditions of managed provider contracts for both internal and external constituents.
- Under the direction of and with assistance from the Manager, Commercial Provider Network Contracting, evaluate provider rate request and bring negotiation to closure at or under budget.
- Ensure contract terms are accurately communicated internally for implementation
- Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract provisions are consistent across providers and ensure all applicable legal terms are included in the signed agreement
- Ensure provider agreements comply with Point32Health policies and business standards.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Assist with department projects
- Any other responsibilities assigned by Manager, Commercial Provider Contracting
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
