Job Description:
Reporting to the Head Women’s Flag Football Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for working, as directed, with the Head Coach toward the planning and execution of a successful program. This individual will assist in overseeing coaching, recruitment, and retention of Women’s Flag Football for the University. This position ensures the program works within university rules and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with practice planning and execution
- Recruitment of qualified student-athletes
- Assist in events and coordination of campus visits
- Budget management
- Apparel and equipment purchasing
- Season schedule/Team travel
- Monitor the academic progress of its student-athletes
- Support community engagement and player leadership development initiatives
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary/Hours/Benefits
- $7,000/year
- Part-time - 10-month contract
- Coaching and/or playing experience desired
