Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Change Management Engineer to join our team. The Change Management Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the correct product content is released for each project, making minor modifications to the release content for any custom project requirements, and ensuring the released content is accurate. This role will also review inbound requests and coordinate with our product team to drive continuous improvement of the product and associated systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Content Release Management:
- Ensure the correct product content, including Bill of Materials, shop drawings and field installation drawings, is released for each project.
- Make minor modifications to the release content for any custom project requirements.
- Verify the accuracy of the released content.
- Collaborate with Product and Project teams to improve our product to project release process over time.
- Request Review and Coordination:
- Review inbound requests related to product content and releases.
- Coordinate with the product team to address and resolve requests.
- Drive continuous improvement of the product based on feedback and requests.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, permitting, procurement, manufacturing, and site to ensure seamless product releases.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams to facilitate efficient workflows.
- Detail changes and communicate them to the impacted operations teams to drive team efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for product releases and modifications in our change management systems.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product release coordination, process engineering, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in CAD systems. OnShape experience a plus.
- Revit experience a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP & PLM systems. NetSuite experience a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a plus.
