Now Hiring: Experienced Part-Time Security Officers
Starting at $20.00/hr
Location: Akron | Schedule: Part-Time
Shifts Available:
- Monday to Friday: 12 Noon – 5:00 PM
As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our distribution center and its operations. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting inspections, monitoring activity, and securing critical areas
- Screening outgoing materials, mail, and trash to prevent asset loss
- Enforcing company policies and regulations fairly and professionally
- Monitoring compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Preparing accurate and detailed incident reports
- Maintaining public relations and contributing to a positive team atmosphere
- Attending ongoing training in security practices and procedures
- Qualifying annually with a firearm (required)
- Performing additional duties and projects as assigned
We’re seeking individuals who are professional, reliable, and motivated by a strong commitment to safety and service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior private security experience required; military or law enforcement background preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure
