If you’re looking for freebies, we’ve found some of the fastest ways to get bonuses worth $25 or more with signup offers and similar promotions. Check out our list including deals from rewards apps, banking services, brokerage apps, and more.
01. Can I really get a $25 signup bonus instantly?
In theory, there are plenty of ways to get a signup bonus of $25 or more instantly (or at least pretty fast). However, in practice, this can be tricky.
Why can’t I always withdraw my $25 signup bonus instantly?
In some cases, you may be able to withdraw your $25 signup bonus and receive it within a few hours or possibly even faster. However, withdrawals within this timeframe won’t usually be guaranteed.
Even in cases where signup bonus rewards are credited to your new account instantly (which is common with rewards or cashback platforms, for example), you may be unable to use these rewards straight away.
This is because you’ll often have to fulfill specific requirements before you can withdraw your cash, crypto, gift cards, or other types of credits, and doing so will likely take several days, weeks, months, or even longer.
What else should I know about signup offers with bonuses?
It’s common to find offers with generous bonuses of $25 or more when you sign up with banks or financial services, particularly. However, these offers often require you to receive a direct deposit (e.g., your salary or government benefits payments) to a new account or to deposit funds in an account before you can qualify.
Alternatively, other types of offers may require you to spend a certain amount to get $25 in cashback rewards, for example.
It’s difficult to find platforms with signup bonus offers that have absolutely no strings attached, so you’ll usually be best off looking for something that fits in with your current lifestyle and needs.
02. Top 5 platforms with (almost) instant signup bonuses worth $25 or more
The platforms on this list include finance apps and other services you can use to get juicy welcome bonuses worth $30–$300 or possibly even more when you join up.
As previously mentioned, some offers will also require you to make or receive deposits to an account, so there may be additional boxes to tick before you can qualify for these deals.
If you can fulfill the requirements right away, you’ll have a good chance of being able to withdraw your bonus money within a few days or possibly even faster. Bear in mind, though, that this isn’t guaranteed. You may have to wait up to a few weeks in the worst-case scenarios, so it’s best not to stake your life on getting the cash instantly.
1. Binance
Binance is one of the largest platforms in the world for trading cryptocurrency and is available as both an app and a website. It allows you to trade all the usual suspects, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
Notably, Binance also allows you to trade USDT. This is a type of cryptocurrency known as a stablecoin, which is designed to maintain a value of 1 USDT = US$1.
You can get a bonus of 100 USDT (worth $100) when you sign up to use Binance. To qualify for the signup offer, you’ll have to deposit at least 100 USDT into your Binance account. In other words, you must deposit $100 or more. You’ll also need to follow the Binance signup instructions.
If you then wish to withdraw your signup bonus, the exact timeline for this will depend on various factors, including how long Binance takes to verify your identity when you open your account (usually 1–2 business days at most), how long your deposit takes to reach your new Binance account (a few days at most), and other processing times.
However, Binance says that you may also need to fulfill certain requirements (e.g., reaching a minimum trading volume or maintaining your account for a certain time) before you can withdraw your bonus, so whether you can withdraw instantly will depend on how long it takes to meet these requirements. Learn more about Binance withdrawals on their FAQs page.
2. Current
Current is a fintech company offering mobile banking services for everyday use (although it isn’t technically a bank), including checking accounts, credit-building features, cryptocurrency trading, and other financial tools. At the time of writing (May 2025), Current will reward you with a $50 bonus when you sign up for its current account using the promo code on the Current website. To get the bonus, you’ll need to receive qualifying direct deposits of at least $200 (which must reach your account within 45 days).
After that, Current says it will send the bonus payment within 10 days. Estimates like these are often conservative, meaning there’s a good chance of getting your money before the 10-day mark. However, as we’ve already emphasized, it’s best not to count on it.
3. Upromise
Upromise is a platform for microtasking (completing quick and easy tasks for money, gift cards, or similar rewards) and cashback rewards. Many similar apps and websites exist for users to earn general-purpose rewards in the form of PayPal cash or gift cards, for example. However, Upromise is unique in that it’s specifically designed to help families save for college.

Once you join Upromise, you can link it to a 529 college savings plan, student loan account, or regular bank account. When you earn rewards, they will then automatically go to this linked account—generally during the first week of each month. Upromise says transfers usually take under a week, so, for most types of accounts, the bonus payment should reach you quite fast. 1
When you link your Upromise account with your financial account, Upromise will give you a $25 bonus. It also gives you another bonus of $5.29 when you verify your email, meaning you’ll get $30.29 altogether in welcome bonus rewards.
The speed of the bonus payout will depend on when you join Upromise plus other factors, but you’ll usually be looking at something between a few days and a few weeks (as Upromise says it transfers rewards to your linked account during the first week of each month, with transfers usually taking less than a week to complete—although it could be longer for some 529 plans).
4. SoFi Checking and Savings accounts
SoFi is a personal finance and fintech company that offers credit cards, mortgages, loans, stock investing, and other financial tools and services. SoFi started life as a provider of student loan refinancing and then branched out into other financial sectors.

When you open a new SoFi Checking and Savings account online and use it to receive a direct deposit of at least $1,000, you can earn $50 as a welcome bonus (or a $300 bonus if you deposit $5,000 or more). 2
The speed of the SoFi payout will be largely down to the direct deposit setup, which can take more or less time, depending on your payer, along with other factors. In theory, direct deposits can be set up within a day or two, but SoFi warns that the process can take 2–4 weeks.
Once the deposit money materializes, SoFi says that your bonus will follow within about a month. 2
5. Chase
Chase is a major bank that offers checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, investments, retirement planning, and other financial services.
Chase
Signup bonus $100+
Rewards Points and cash back
Monthly fees $0–$12
ATM fees $0–$5

-
Other Notable Fees
Overdraft fee of $34, monthly service fees on some checking and savings accounts, and annual fees on many credit cards.
-
Withdrawals
Withdraw earnings via ATMs, online transfers, branch visits, or debit/credit card purchases.
At the time of writing (May 2025), Chase has multiple active signup deals offering hundreds of dollars in bonuses when you sign up for particular Chase accounts (e.g., Chase Secure Banking or Chase Total Checking account) or credit cards. Although some of these offers have time limits, they will likely be followed up with similar promotions.
Note that you will usually have to fulfill certain criteria to receive signup bonuses from Chase. For example, you may need to receive direct deposit payments (e.g., from an employer or government benefits) whose total exceeds a certain threshold, pass credit checks, or meet other requirements.
How long your bonus takes to reach you will depend on the specific offer. In some cases, Chase says it will pay out within 15 days after you fulfill relevant criteria, but timelines will vary. Although estimates like these may be conservative (meaning there’s a good chance of getting your money before 15 days in this case), as usual, it’s best not to count on a speedy payout. 3
Another catch to watch out for with signup offers from Chase (or other banks) is the fees you can sometimes incur if you don’t fulfill certain conditions. Read more about these on the Chase website, and make sure you know what you’re getting into before you sign up for anything.
Some other banks offer bonuses to new customers opening accounts or credit cards (often with similar criteria to Chase’s), but they won’t necessarily pay you as fast as Chase does. For example, Capital One currently offers a $250 signup bonus when you get their 360 Checking account (and receive two direct deposits of $500 or more within 75 days); however, this bonus payout can take up to 60 days.
Other banks have similar signup deals with slower payouts
03. Get a $25 signup bonus with brokerage and investment apps
Brokerage and investment apps often give you generous bonuses when you join their platform and invest a certain amount of money with them.
The downside with these platforms is that you won’t usually be able to withdraw bonuses you receive as cash instantly. You may sometimes receive a quick bonus payment in the form of stocks you can trade at any time, for example, but more often, you’ll have to fulfill various criteria that can take weeks or even months before you can turn your rewards into cash.
If you can afford to wait a bit longer to get your bonus, these investment platforms offer generous signup bonus rewards of $50 or more.
5. E*TRADE
E*TRADE is a popular investment platform owned by the global investment bank and wealth management firm Morgan Stanley. You can use it to buy and sell many different types of assets.
E*TRADE

For example, E*TRADE offers:

- Options (contracts that let you buy or sell assets at a set price at certain times)
- Futures (contracts that require you to buy or sell an asset at a set price at a set time)
- Real estate investment trusts (or REITs, which are companies that own or finance income-producing properties)
- Other types of assets
E*TRADE also currently has a promo offer for new signups, offering $50–$10,000 in cash credits when you open a brokerage account and invest $1,000 or more (and use the promo code from their website during signup). The more you invest, the more cash credits you’ll get.
You won’t usually get an instant payout unless you have very large sums of money to invest. If you have over $200,000 to invest, E*TRADE says it will pay your bonus cash credit within 7 days after you make your deposit.
In the more likely event that you have less than $200,000 to invest, you’ll have to wait at least two months (60 days) from the date you open your account to get your bonus.
6. TradeStation
TradeStation is another investment platform that allows users to trade shares, ETFs (exchange-traded funds), options, crypto, and other assets.
TradeStation
Minimum Deposit $0
Commission $0–$5
Withdrawal Method ACH and wire transfer
Account Fee $0–$149.95/month

Buy and sell stocks, ETFs, options, futures, crypto, and more.
The platform also offers signup bonuses of $150–$3,500 in the form of a cash credit deposited directly into your account. However, you’ll need at least $5,000 in savings or investments you can transfer to TradeStation in order to get this bonus. The more you deposit, the bigger your bonus will be.
Although TradeStation offers a pretty generous signup bonus, it doesn’t offer a quick payout. You have to keep your deposit in your account for 270 days (about 9 months) to qualify for the bonus cash, which will usually come in the month following the end of the holding period.
7. Acorns
Acorns is a fintech app that offers “micro investing,” which is a way of buying fractions of shares to invest in small increments. This platform is one of several on our list that are designed to help you invest money in various ways (often called brokerage apps or trading apps).
Acorns
Minimum Deposit $5
Commission None
Withdrawal Method ACH transfers
Account Fee $3–$12/month

Acorns currently offers a $25 bonus to new users who sign up. However, you’ll need to make a recurring payment into an Acorns account, and this must exceed a minimum threshold (at least $5 per day, week, or month).
Any bonuses you receive will be in the form of Reward Shares invested into your account, where Reward Shares are fractions of ETF shares or stocks (exchange-traded funds).
It could take a few weeks to turn your shares into cash, as Acorns says that typically pays bonuses within 10 days of the following month after you make your first successful Recurring Investment.
Other investment platforms offer smaller signup bonuses
Many other platforms for trading shares, ETFs, options, crypto, and other types of assets will give you signup bonuses worth less than $25. For example, Robinhood usually offers a $5 bonus (although a few lucky customers can get $25 or more). Another similar app, MooMoo, gives you free stocks worth at least $10 when you deposit at least $100 in a new account with them (although there’s a chance you’ll get over $25 worth).
04. Other apps that sometimes offer a signup bonus of $25 or more
The apps on this list don’t guarantee a large signup bonus. However, they may occasionally have opportunities to get bonuses worth $25 or even more.
8. Freecash
Freecash is a type of platform often called a microtasking or GPT (get paid to) platform. This type of app or website allows you to earn money by completing quick and easy tasks. For example, on Freecash, you can play games, test apps, and take surveys.
Freecash
The Verdict
Freecash is a globally available platform that will pay you for testing games. It claims to offer instant redemption when you withdraw cash (except via bank transfer, which may take several days).
Signup Bonus $0–$250
Withdraw Minimum $5–$20 (then $0.25)

Withdraw earnings via PayPal, bank transfer, gift cards, prepaid debit cards, crypto, or several other methods.
-
Task Variety
Earn by playing games, completing surveys, completing offers, and downloading other non-gaming apps.
You can use Freecash via a web-based version for internet browsers or an app for Android devices. Although there’s no iOS app (for iPhones and iPads), you may be able to earn rewards for downloading some iOS apps via the Freecash website.
The problem with the Freecash signup bonus is that the bonus amount will depend on various factors, which Freecash doesn’t explain very clearly. They say that the bonus will be in the range of $0.05–$250 (and we suspect that you’re more likely to get something at the lower end).
A huge selling point of Freecash is its instant withdrawals (which many similar GPT apps don’t guarantee). However, before you can withdraw, you have to accumulate enough rewards to reach a minimum threshold. As with the signup bonus, this threshold will vary, but Freecash says that it will be between $5 and $20. 4
9. Receipt Hog
Receipt Hog could also be described as a microtasking or GPT app. However, it’s better described as a receipt-scanning app, which you can use to earn cash (via PayPal or Visa prepaid cards) or Amazon e-gift cards by scanning digital and paper receipts.
Receipt Hog
Rewards Type Cash or gift cards
Rewards Rate $0.025–$0.123/receipt
Fees None
Withdraw Minimum $5

-
Earning Method
Submit a receipt for an eligible purchase through the app, and complete in-app surveys.
-
Payment Options
Withdraw earnings via PayPal, Amazon gift cards, or Visa.
This platform promises “a fun and rewarding way to turn receipts from everyday shopping into cash,” and it also sometimes has surveys and other tasks.
It also guarantees a small signup bonus, plus chances to win extra bonus rewards, since you get free sweepstakes entries when you connect your email account to Receipt Hog. Sweepstake prizes range from around $0.25 to $25.00.
The guaranteed signup bonus will probably amount to just a few cents, but the information Receipt Hog provides about this is confusing, so it’s not clear whether the bonus is worth 36 coins or 100 coins (or if you will receive both amounts). Since Receipt Hog coins are worth approximately half a cent each (although this varies a bit), the bonus will be equivalent to less than $1.
Receipt Hog promises a relatively fast cash-out, and you only need $5 in rewards (1,000 coins) to do this. Once you request a redemption, Receipt Hog says that you should get approval within 7 days—although they claim it usually takes “way less than that.”
10. Crypto.com
Like Binance, Crypto.com is a platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other types of cryptocurrencies (although beginners may find it a bit easier to use compared with Binance).
Crypto.com
Minimum Deposit $0
Commission 0%–0.5%
Withdrawal Method Crypto wallets and bank transfer
Account Fee $0–$4.95

-

-
Investment Options
Buy and sell stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, and NFTs.
The platform also often has “Welcome Bonus Missions” for new users. These bonus missions promise you a chance to win hundreds or even thousands of dollars’ worth of crypto rewards.
Although the bonus payment comprises digital currencies that are less well-known (e.g., Cronos [CRO], CorgiAI [CORGIAI], and Ferro [FER]), you can trade these niche coins for more popular cryptocurrencies or cash.
However, Crypto.com doesn’t cite a guaranteed minimum amount for the bonus. Because of this, it’s not clear whether you’ll receive as much as $25; it could be a lot more or less. 5 6
Also, you’ll need to trade a certain amount of crypto to qualify for bonuses. According to the Crypto.com website, this will be in the region of $100–$500, with the exact amounts depending on where you sign up. 7
05. How to get an instant $25 bonus with referrals
The signup bonuses we’ve seen on this list so far are available for all new customers joining the platforms or services in question. In addition to standard signup bonuses, you can often get referral bonuses when you use a referral link or code from an existing customer.
The following types of platforms and services are likely to offer referral bonuses:
- Digital payment services: Digital payment apps or websites (which let you pay for purchases or send money electronically without using cash or checks) sometimes have bonuses for new users who are referred by a friend. Try Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App if you don’t already use these.
- Investment platforms: In addition to investment apps we’ve already seen, like TradeStation and E*TRADE, you can check similar platforms for referral bonus offers (e.g., M1 Finance, Fundrise, and Vantage). Ditto for microinvestment apps like Acorns; look for referral bonuses with similar services (e.g., Stash).
- Payday apps: Payday apps allow you to get salary advances by giving you a portion of the money you’ve already earned from your employer before payday. Payday apps may offer referral bonuses and, sometimes, signup bonuses (albeit probably less than $25 worth). Check out EarnIn and Cleo (but watch out for fees with these types of apps).
- Other fintech apps: You can also look for referral bonuses with other types of apps offering financial services, such as Albert (a personal finance app) and MoneyLion (an all-in-one platform for mobile banking, cash advances, credit-building tools, and investment services).
- Cashback and receipt-scanning apps: We’ve already mentioned a couple of apps in this category (Receipt Hog and Upromise), which have referral bonuses as well as signup bonuses. In addition, Ibotta and Rakuten are similar platforms that give you cash back when you shop via their portals, apps, or browser extensions and that offer bonuses for friend referrals.
- Banks: Many banks offer referral bonuses in addition to signup bonuses. For example, Chase currently offers a $50 bonus each time you refer a friend who opens a qualifying Chase checking account.
On top of referral bonuses that you get for joining a new platform or service, you can also often get bonuses for referring other people to use a service you’re already enrolled with.
Note that, like many of the signup offers from our list, referral bonuses may have additional requirements for you to qualify for (e.g., a threshold for direct deposit payments for banking services, a minimum investment for brokerage apps, or similar awkward demands).
06. Other ways to make $25 fast
If none of the deals from our list are suitable for you, there are many other strategies you can try to make money fast, including ways to make money in one hour or less.
- Combining multiple offers: Many platforms similar to those on our list have signup bonuses and referral bonuses of $0.01–$24.99, and smaller bonuses often have less strict qualification criteria. You can combine these smaller offers to make $25 in total—or even more—in cash, crypto, or other rewards.
- Microtasking: Many microtasking or GPT platforms offer $1–$10 bonuses for new users who sign up (which may involve verifying your email address or answering a quick profile survey, for example). You can then usually accumulate $25 by spending a few hours on small tasks (e.g., taking surveys, playing games, or exploring deals). Check out Scrambly (a GPT app), Mistplay (a phone gaming app), and MTurk (which you can read about in our MTurk review).
- Passive income apps: These apps offer one of the easiest ways to earn $25. Some will give you a small signup bonus (albeit usually just a few dollars) while also allowing you to earn additional rewards by doing very little. Try Pawns.app, EarnApp, and Honeygain to get paid for sharing your unused internet bandwidth (with other microtasks also sometimes available).
- Freelancing: You can also try more traditional freelancing gigs such as proofreading, graphic design, and virtual assistance. Look for work on popular freelancing platforms like Upwork or Fiverr.
- Selling stuff online: It’s relatively easy to make a quick buck by selling items online (e.g., handmade items or second-hand items). Check out widely used selling platforms like eBay and Facebook Marketplace.
- Renting stuff out: If you can’t think of anything you want to sell, you may be able to find something you can rent out to make money. There are many apps and websites you can use to get paid for renting or sharing your belongings, including Airbnb (for renting out rooms and properties), Turo (for renting out vehicles), and FriendWithA (for renting out a wide variety of items and equipment).
- More conventional side hustles: Finally, consider offering services like lawn-mowing, babysitting, or tutoring in your local area. This can be a very quick way to earn $25, and you can often get paid on the spot in cash.
