About the Role:Youth Athletes United is looking for an energetic and passionate Youth Tennis Coach to join our team in sunny Delray Beach, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of tennis players while doing what you love. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging tennis lessons and group clinics for youth players of varying skill levels
- Teach fundamental tennis techniques including stroke mechanics, footwork, and court positioning
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging training environment for all participants
- Monitor and track player progress, providing constructive feedback to athletes and parents
- Organize and facilitate drills, match play, and skill-building activities
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tennis equipment and court facilities
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and program coordinators
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching or teaching tennis, especially to youth players
- Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, rules, and game strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents
- Patient, motivating, and enthusiastic demeanor with young athletes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends
