What You’ll Do

• Lead Instructional Games: Oversee structured, age-appropriate games for T-Ball (ages 3–4) and Coach Pitch (ages 5–6).
• Model and Mentor: Break down basic baseball concepts into fun, engaging, and digestible steps for young children.
• Facilitate Group Communication: Act as the main point of contact on the field, clearly coordinating with parents, young athletes, and volunteer coaches.
• Manage the Field: Ensure the day runs smoothly, stays organized, remains on schedule, and maintains a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Children or Leadership: Prior experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or managing groups of people is highly valued.
• Group Leadership Skills: Comfortable directing and organizing groups of children as well as managing adult volunteers.
• Reliability and Warmth: Punctual, organized, and possesses an outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Availability: Consistent Saturday morning availability (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) for the duration of the Fall season (September – November).
• Age Preference: Must be at least 18 years of age (Adults 25+, experienced educators, and retirees preferred).
