About the Role:Youth Athletes United is looking for an energetic and passionate Youth Sports Coach to join our team in Wellington, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young athletes by fostering a love of fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition. Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead engaging youth sports sessions and fitness activities
- Instruct young athletes in proper techniques, rules, and sportsmanship
- Monitor and evaluate athlete progress, adjusting coaching methods as needed
- Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding athlete development
- Ensure all equipment and facilities meet safety standards before each session
- Assist in organizing youth sports events, drills, and team-building exercises
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching, teaching, or working with youth in a sports or fitness setting
- Strong knowledge of youth sports, athletic training, or physical education
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills
- Ability to work with children of varying ages and skill levels (2-10 years old)
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive role model for young athletes
- Background check required
