SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a fun, safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children and youth participating in Youth Room activities. The Youth Room Attendant ensures the well-being of all participants while fostering positive relationships with youth, families, and staff in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures, and values.
SCHEDULE:
Looking for an after-school position? This role is ideal for someone seeking part-time evening hours. We are currently hiring for shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with school-aged youth and teens, preferred.
- Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
