About the Role:Youth Athletes United is looking for an energetic and passionate Youth Pickleball Coach to join our team in Delray Beach, FL! This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of players by teaching skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the fastest-growing sport in America. Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging pickleball lessons and clinics for youth participants of varying skill levels
- Teach fundamental pickleball techniques including serving, dinking, volleying, and court positioning
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for all young athletes
- Monitor player progress and adjust coaching methods to meet individual developmental needs
- Organize and supervise drills, scrimmages, and skill-building activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player development and program updates
- Ensure all equipment and court areas are safe and properly maintained
Requirements:
- Prior experience coaching, teaching, or instructing youth in sports or recreational programs
- Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and gameplay strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents
- Patient, enthusiastic, and motivating coaching demeanor
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Background check required
