Job Description
Job Details: Job Location: NSC-Henderson Corps - HENDERSON, NC, Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Recreation, Plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates youth programs that support Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship. Provides a safe, positive environment that encourages participation, guides and mentors members, assists with registration and orientation, and builds strong relationships with youth and their families.
Implements Club programs, activities, special events, and outreach efforts to maintain and increase membership and participation. Monitors program quality, safety, and facility appearance, completes required activity reports, and may provide staff supervision in the absence of the Program Coordinator.
All responsibilities are carried out in support of The Salvation Army’s mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
