Youth Apprentice - Information Technology

As an IT Help-desk Youth Apprentice, you will provide support for the IT department in maintaining and troubleshooting the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will assist with day-to-day IT tasks, support end users, and develop key technical skills through practical, hands-on experience. This apprenticeship is designed to provide a stepping stone for a career in IT support or related fields.

Skills

• Interest in pursuing a career in IT support or technology.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP addressing).
• Familiarity with common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
