The Team Leader will be responsible for the Kids Zone staff and children in Kids Zone areas, ensuring a safe, healthy environment. The Team Leader will interact positively with parents to develop a trusting relationship.

 
Qualifications:
1-2 years’ experience working with children is required.
A minimum of 18 years of age and minimum 1 year supervision experience is required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of child development.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff.
Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
Administrative skills including recordkeeping, statistical reporting and ability to complete and maintain Child Watch program paperwork according to department guidelines.
