Yard Supervisor

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Cincinnati OH - West Chester, OH, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Pipe Yard Supervisor oversees the productivity of the yard.  This includes making sure their employees are working quickly and safely, as well as making sure all the equipment is running properly and is up to code. 
Qualifications: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees all yard operations.
Records receipt of material into Titan
Supervises direct reports in daily tasks

Handles all personnel issues
Approves timesheets for payroll processing

Supervises trucks being loaded
Coordinates the loading process with customers and truck drivers
Load and unload inventory onto flatbeds
Handles organization of all pipe inventory that resides in branch’s yard
Assist in Inventory control and cycle counts
Operate equipment safety and efficiently by OSHA and TPS company standards

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma/College Education
PVF Experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
