Job Description
Job Details: Job Location: Y Community Complex - Anaheim, CA, Salary Range: $17.75 - $18.50Hourly, Description: Y Complex staff oversee the day-to-day operations of the YMCA Community Complex during assigned shifts, ensuring staff responsibilities, facility rentals, member services, safety procedures, and facility policies are properly coordinated and implemented.
The Y Complex staff will develop a working knowledge of Daxko operations to assist with facility check-in procedures, membership inquiries, program registrations, waivers, agreements, and other member account functions.
The Y Complex staff enforce and administer all YMCA Community Complex rules, policies, and procedures, including the YMCA Code of Conduct, smoke-free and substance-free policies, proper facility usage, parking regulations, and behavioral expectations for members, participants, spectators, and staff. They will report all incidents and policy violations to the direct supervisor.
Y Complex staff ensure that program standards are met and safety procedures are followed by inspecting the facility, equipment, and parking areas. They follow required daily opening and closing procedures and checklists.
There are other duties to perform as assigned.
Hours: Part-time, non-exempt
On weekdays and Sundays, shifts are from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts are from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Wage: $17.75 to $18.50 per hour

Qualifications: Qualifications: All Y Complex staff must be at least 18 years of age and possess at least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Y Complex staff must have one year of college or work experience.
Qualified applicants know how to use typical business software and office equipment.
As a YMCA Business Driver, the employee must possess a valid and current CA Driver’s License or other valid state driver’s license and must provide to the Y proof of minimum CA vehicle insurance coverage upon request. They must also maintain an approved and acceptable driving record to continue as a Y Business Driver. An annual MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) will be conducted by the Y. Employees who are YMCA Business Drivers who do not maintain an acceptable driving record may be prohibited from being a Business Driver, which could affect employment status.
Must submit to and comply with all requirements for employment including, but not limited to, a criminal background check, drug/alcohol testing, health screening, TB test.
Employees must be CPR/first aid certified within the first 30 days of employment and kept current for condition of continued employment. The Anaheim Family YMCA periodically provides CPR/first aid training to staff who need certification.
